New dash cluster thingy
Hey guys! So I just ordered a new dash gauge panel thing bc mine doesn’t have a tach and so I bought on with one and what not. But how would I get the odometer to display the correct mileage? Does it do it automatically? Or what? Thank you!!

No, not automatic. Purely mechanical.
Best thing to do is take off your old odometer and put it on your new cluster. Don't try to reset it; it's designed to be extremely hostile to that, and will probably never work again if you do.

Remember the scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off where they jacked up the back of the car and ran it in reverse with a brick on the gas pedal to reset the odometer? Do that.
