High beams dont work

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it anywhere. My low beams work, but when I try to turn on my high beams nothing turns on. I can't figure out exactly where the relay or fuse is for them does anyone know how to fix this?

Re: High beams dont work

My switch had deteriorated (not the lever) up under the dash on the steering column and the whole thing would move back and forth not allowing it to properly click over to high beams.

Mine clicks right in, it shuts the low-beams off but won't turn the high-beams on.

Locate the switch, it's mounted on the column right above the brake pedal. Turn brights on and grab the plastic switch with your thumb where the rod goes in and push it in manually. I believe these things have adjustment in them by loosening them up and sliding them up or down on the column.

Re: High beams dont work

Easy enough to check the voltage on the wires... yellow wire is incoming 12V from the headlight sw; the other 2 are tan & grn; 1 is low, 1 is hi, can't recall which is which. The sw might be bad, etc. etc. etc. Pretty straightforward to troubleshoot. Check sw adjustment first, then move to electrical diagnosis if it's mechanically correct and still doesn't work.
