fuel pump and gauge connector

Anyone know the what kind of connector belongs on a factory in tank fuel pump/sending unit? I guess since the previous owner carb swapped this and installed a motor mounted fuel pump he just disconnected and left the wiring hang.
Well, it must've been sitting on an exhaust pipe because the whole connector is melted.
If i had to guess it looks like a 3 pin weatherpak connector, but the one i ordered doesn't plug into the plug on the body. Looks like the body plug is keyed differently?

Any idea? I'm really not trying to replace a sending unit because of this.
Thanks.

You will need to compare the slots on the connector but this might be the male side.

You can always change them to this

Connector that mates to the plug on the firewall side (behind rear seat) is Delphi part number is 12020829. I usually go to Ballenger Motosports for small purchases like that.

I don't know the part number for the fuel pump side.
