Headlights won't turn on but mostly everything else does.
Not too long ago my 83 sport coupe was involved in an accident that resulted in front end damage on my car, ive gotten most of the parts replaced but I'm scratching my head with the headlights, They won't turn on along with the dash cluster lights (the lights for the center console turn on just fine) only illuminating only the left turn arrow and the high beam icon on the dash. Would the problem be my switch even though everything else works fine? Or would it be something else with the wiring itself

Alright, so I have an update on my headlight situation, I had unplugged the headlight switch and left it it in the car for about a week. I plugged it back in and all of the sudden i had headlights again, Sorta.

I would have to dig out the old shop manual for the wiring diagrams (or you can google search it), but that makes me suspect the switch is failing.
Maybe the "previous owner" somehow managed to get both low beam plugs on one side and both high beams on the other? I've seen stranger things...
