1984 lg4 ecm wiring diagram
hello I was wondering if anyone could provide me with the computer pinouts for a 1984 lg4 specifically the torque converter clutch wiring trying to figure out if the computer controls the power or the ground side of the tcc

thank you that helps a little but my transmission has 2 pressure switches inside im trying to find a diagram that shows both of them and what the ecm needs to see from them in order to control lockup

after staring at that diagram for about 15 mins I think I've figured it out ill know in a couple of days if I'm right or if my dyslexia has gotten the better of me again, reading wiring diagrams is not one of my strong suits hahaha

Original stock transmission? If so, then it should be type 4 as far as TC lockup circuit, IIRC. If you are trying to test the lockup function, you can jumper the appropriate pin at your ALDL connector to ground to force lockup. Stepping on the brake will force unlock (breaks the positive 12v side). No matter what wiring configuration you have, the ECM always switches the ground side.

ok here's my situation ive installed a tci streetfighter 700r4 witch is setup to use a vacuum switch to control lockup, im still running the computer and I want it to control lockup like it always has i think ive figured out the wires i need to change inside the trans ill yet yall know how it goes if it works as planned i may do a writeup in case anyone else is interested in running such a hardcore transmission in a ccc car and retaining computer lockup
