Fog Light Question
I have a '92 RS that did not come with factory fog light but were added some time later by a PO. The lights work via an added auxiliary switch but I would like them to be much more bright and would like to convert to LED bulbs to accomplish this. I tried some suggested bulbs but none were an improvement so I am still looking for a solution. Can someone be good enough to point me in the right direction?

Re: Fog Light Question
google is your friend here. Just type in LED fog lights and see what pops up. You could always buy a pair of LED cube lights and mount them inside the bumper and use the wiring that is already there.

Re: Fog Light Question
I used Google prior to this posting and found one site that looked promising. The two bulbs were $39.95. I wasn't sure if these were as bright as advertised and wanted to hear from others on the forum as to what they might be using. I appreciate the response but I would really like to stay with the original look of the car including the fog lights, which were on a factory car.

Re: Fog Light Question
You will want to search for a H3 LED bulb then. I will warn you though, most people who do this regret it because the light output of the led bulb inside the housing doesnt end up lighting up the road as far out as the halogen bulb does.
I guess its all subjective to opinions. You just have to remember that the fog lights are not driving lights. They are not designed to be two extra headlights.

Re: Fog Light Question
I really am not looking for them to be additional headlights but I would like for them to work better and be brighter than the stock bulbs. I briefly tried one set of suggested LED bulbs (can't recall the number right at this time) but found them less useful that the stock ones.
https://www.screamingchicken.com/pro...ght-bulbs.html looks interesting but the cost might be too high to "try" them to see if they work as advertised.

Re: Fog Light Question
That link is funny... It says their bulbs fit 85-92 Camaro and Trans am, but the Trans Am uses a H3 bulb, and the Camaro uses an entirely different bulb. They're nothing alike and won't interchange.

Not only is that link funny, the color is wrong for penetrating fog.
