Re: Data logging

I believe Tunerpro showing 'not connected' is normal. It should all work once you get datalogging. I had several people on this site help me figure out how to start datalogging, so here is a step by step to get you going:

Download Tuner Pro RT - http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadApp.htm

Save definition file (******.adx) on computer hard drive. Be sure to note where you are saving this file

To Datalog using Tuner Pro RT

Plug USB ALDL OBD1 connector cable into computer and to vehicle ALDL OBD1 port (be sure laptop recognized and downloads USB driver for cable

Start vehicle

Open Tuner Pro RT

On the top ribbon bar, click 'Acquisition'

Click 'Load Definition File' (*********.adx)

On the top ribbon bar, click 'Acquisition'

Click 'Start/Stop Data Scan' in the window that opens

On the top ribbon bar, click 'Acquisition'

Click 'Record' in the window that opens

Drive vehicle

While driving/recording, you can review various elements (BLM/Knock/Spark Advance/etc) by clicking on the History Tables or Dashboards

Once the drive is completed, on the top ribbon bar, click 'Acquisition'

Click 'Stop' in the window that opens

Create a file name (xxxxx.xdl) to save data log session and the click 'Save' (be sure to note where you are saving this file)

To review saved datalog (xxxxx.xdl)

On the top ribbon bar, click 'Acquisition'

Click 'Load Log File' in the window that opens

Choose the xxxxx.xdl file you want to review

On the top ribbon bar, click the 'Play' button (graphic)

Click on the History Tables or Dashboards to review the various elements (BLM/Knock/Spark Advance/etc)
