I recently picked up an 84 that is pretty complete. One issue I’ve run into is someone stripped the electronics from the distributor and as a result have a poorly running car to say the least and check engine light. I picked up a new distributor but am having a problem locating the electrical connector and wiring. If anyone has any pics or info of where this should be coming off the harness it would be appreciated.

Axle/Gears: J65 pbr on stock posi 10bolt

There should be a 4 pin male connector by the distributor.
for ccc and x fire.

should be are the key words. Just wondering where in this harness I should start cutting to recover them and what color wires I’m looking for

Wire colors may varies you should refer to a service manual
white,purple/white,tan/blk and black/red. The wires come from the ecm through the body connector in the drivers side kick panel.
