GN fan switch

I remember hearing a while back that the fan switch for a Grand National will work for our cars and comes on at a lower temp than the factory ones? Are they less than the $45 I see everywhere, that just seems like a bit much for a little switch ( or maybe I'm just cheap ).

If I remember from seeing it b 4, I think the switch comes on around 205 or 215º. I'd assume since it's mid 80's & GM the connectors would be the same but, you never know.

I'd guess you might save $10 . Summit sells the JET switch for $38 & comes on at 200º, off at 185.

I bought a Wells; it looks the same as the stock temperature one, but does come on lower than 238. Same connector and everything.

They DO work on our cars, I have one on mine, I think I paid around $25 for it from a guy I knew at the dealer. I don't recall what the turn on/off temps are but they can also be changed when you burn your own proms.
