Dash lights problem

Dash lights problem

On my 1983 Camaro When I turn my headlights on and my dash lights come on the one turn signal comes on steady but dim and guages go dead any suggestions

Hey i know this is super old but did you ever figure out what was going on i have a very similar issue and its got me stumped only difference is my rpms jump to 7k any help is greatly appreciated

That’s consistent with a bad ground inside the cluster, or a corroded pin on the dash connector.

Funny Car Fun Fact:Funnys can twist the crank so far that sometimes cam lobes are ground offset from front to rear to re-phase the valve timing somewhere closer to synchronization with the pistons.
