Re: Anyone know what these are?

I believe it is supposed to be a H.O. Vin is a 7 code so I’m not sure if it was a crossfire or carb. It’s been converted to an Edelbrock at some point. My engine bay wiring looks like a bowl of spaghetti. Trying to figure out what I need to keep and get rid of as far as computer wiring goes..

Re: Anyone know what these are?

You will need both harnesses that plug into/thru the drivers side of the firewall. ( ENGINE and HEADLIGHT ) The ENGINE harness in your car is specific to 82 and 83 cars.

You can pull the entire ECM harness out of the car. Start at the pass side under the dash and remove the ECM ( if still installed ) then disconnect the ECM harness from the dash harness, remove the body clip, push the thru-hole connector into the fender well, and 'snake' the ECM harness into the engine bay. Then you can disconnect any of the connectors still attached and pull the whole mess out.

* Eighth digit is engine code: 1 = 173ci V6(LC1), 2 = 151ci 4-cyl (LQ9), 7 = 305ci V8 (L69), F = 151 ci 4-cyl (LQ8), H = 305ci V8 (LG4), S = 305ci V8 (LU5)
83 used the '7' code for the L69 HO cars,........ I noticed that your 83 had a ESC module on it and IIRC GM used a knock sensor only on the L69 till 85 when they started using it on every V8.

Good luck !
