Water in headlights
I have just finished replacing the motor bushes on my headlights, and whilst I had all the units off, I fitted brand new headlights too (The old ones were full of water!!)
Only 2 days after finishing, I have noticed that the new lights have a small amount of water in them.
I have noticed that when the lights are closed, the connection on the rear of the light is facing upwards, meaning that any water that runs down the bonnet (hood) lands on the plug at the rear of the headlight unit.
Is there some kind of extra rubber boot to put on, or should I just cover it in grease to keep out the water?

Re: Water in headlights
Unless you are using Cibies or such the headlamps are supposed to be sealed. They are actually called a "Sealed Beam" light.
