mystery connector

Hey all
I was loosening the distributor to set timing and noticed this unplugged 3-wire connector. Couldn't see anything that could connect to it. Anyone have any ideas? looks like black /red striped/white going to it. Pretty sure I didn't disturb it during the distributor work, Looks dusty like its been this way for a while. Thanks .

Re: mystery connector

4bbl car? I'm thinking the blue/green weather-pack is for the MAP or barometric pressure sensor? But admittedly the computer controlled Qjets arent really "my thing". If your car has been changed over to a non-feedback carb, and vacuum advance distributor, the sensors could have been unplugged since they werent doing much anyway.

Re: mystery connector

Yup, looks like for the baro sensor.

That would originally have been on the edge of the windshield cowl, about right above the pass side valve cover.
