Need to trigger above certain speed

I'm doing a little project where I need to activate a relay above a certain speed (when going more than 20 mph or so). Any ideas on how to do that? Wasn't there a company that sold modules like that? Can't find anything on that matter...

Re: Need to trigger above certain speed

Agp turbo has a mph switch that takes in a vss input and grounds when triggered

not sure if there are any differences in vss signals tho, if you can feed the thirdgen one in

If you have some electronics background, then there are assembled modules on ebay (made in China) for practically anything you can dream up. You couldn't purchase even half of the components in the US for what you can get an entire assembled module for. Could you build this power supply for $4.23 with free shipping?

For about $10, I recently used 2 modules, a power supply and a multi-mode digital timer, to add adjustable post-flow timing for the argon gas on my tig welder. Here is an example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/DC12V-LED-D...sAAOSwimZbmKox

Like old-school cruise control, you could use a magnet on the driveshaft and a coil pickup for your input signal.
