Vats came back.
Vats light came back on after borrowing battery for 2 days. Haven't seen it lit up in years. Figured resistor just failed. Replaced it with some spares I had but no go. Picked up some of these and matched the resistance I needed but I'm not sure if they are the correct ones. A little on the thin side. 3.9k-ohm 1/4 W 5% Tolerance carbon film resistor. It's been a while.

Re: Vats came back.
Was your key resistance 3.9Kohm before you bypassed it? Its possible the module has gone bad and isn't reading the resistors or wiring is bad. I would completely remove it and replace it with the vats bypass module from Hawks or off ebay, or have the vats deleted from the ECU, vs bypassing the key check in the aging system.
