Terminating circuits
Terminating circuits
Im rewiring my engine bay. Is there a right or wrong way to terminate unused circuits? For example Fog light relay and circuit. I no longer need it or want it and the less crusty wiring the better. Can I just cut off the relay and terminate the ends (not what I would like) or fish back to the C100 and remove there? Also have no need for the fuel pump, maf relays by the booster.

Re: Terminating circuits
I would suggest removing all the wires all the way to the connector, then remove the terminal from the connector with a small screw driver so there is no risk of the tape, or what ever you use, to come lose and short out to ground.

I've used this product for many years.

My first choice would be what scooter suggests. But dipping the ends in a couple of coats of this would probably do the trick.
