1984 Firebird 5.0

Hello there! i need some serious help with my 84 firebird named Birdy!

Problem number 1 : Last summer when i was out driving i suddenly lost my rear running lights and rear side marking lights, brake and turnsignal works, tried to change the headlight switch but that dident work, fuses are fine, every light in the front of the car works great

Problem number 2 : The owner before me have removed the AC system and the whole box on the firewall and installed one without the AC, but he has also cutted the whole harness for the power to the blowermotor and such cause hes been removing alot in the enginebay to make it look nice...... So i kinda need some wire diagram help to know what all the different coloured wires go so i can get my blower motor to work again

Nice color , that car looks great yellow !

Here is your 1984 HVAC wiring , hopefully this helps you with your A/C wiring . As to the rear running lights , since you say the front ones work OK you might want to check the harness where it runs through the storage area in the left rear trunk area , if the cardboard compartment is missing things stored in that area can hit that harness .

His car in an 84, so that connector is going to be in the drivers side rear corner of the body,... kinda behind the card-board "glove-box' in the hatch. The connector shown in the pic is in the late 80's Thirdgens; Just don't want him to try and dig that connector out only to find it's not in that spot.

Thanks, I also have an 84. You saved me a bunch of work. I plan to change my TA tail lights to Formula. I just like them more. #2 to #5.
