reverse light splice
on my T-5 it has the reverse sensor, but alas no connector in sight, where do i need to splice a new wire into to run a connector to the sensor? ive looked under the dash and there appears to be the right wires for the reverse lights there, but i have no idea where i can hook into them to run the new wire. any insight is greatly appreciated!

Grab the service manual for your car, look up the C100 bulkhead connector. If you have the wires going to C100 inside the car, check to see if they are there on the outside of the car.
If the car was an auto converted to a manual, you'll need to grab the wires at the auto shifter connector, and extend them outside the car.

Re: reverse light splice
i think ive figured out whats going on, the car was originally a 5 speed LG4, before i got the car the PO had it converted over or swaped in a 305 TPI. the back up lights have never worked since ive owned the car the last 10 years, now that i got some down time due to being off work i thought itd be a quick job to get them going finally but it of course it has been frustrating. So i should see a dark blue and light green wire going into the C100 and check for them coming out into the engine bay?

Re: reverse light splice
That'd be the place to start. On the 5spd the wires go to C100, and then onto the trans, on the auto they go to the shifter. Depending on various factors, some cars are wired for both transmissions. If it was a 5spd originally, the wires should go to C100. If the engine harness was from an auto car, you just need the terminals to clip into C100 and the wire/pigtail to run from the switch in the trans up to C100.
