Hey everyone, Im having an issue with some LED headlights I just a little bit ago.
They fit into my 1992 camaro perfectly but dont work exactly right. I started from the passenger side low beam and worked my way over to the driver side low beam. The first low beam headlight plugged in but doesnt work when using low beams. When I flip to high beams, they come on. The next two bulbs were the high beams and they worked perfect. The last light was the last low beam. It also doesnt work with low beam, except now, with all the headlights in, the two low beam headlights will never turn on. Regardless of if the car has on low beams or high beams, the low beam headlights will not turn on. It I replace the last low beam headlight with the oem one, then the low beam headlights will work when the high beams are turned on only.
I dont know what I have to do to wire them correctly. On amazon, there were two people that wrote reviews that had third gen camaros and they both said theirs was plug and play so I dont know why mine isnt the same.
TL,DR
With all four aftermarket LED headlights installed, only the high beams work. With 3/4 LED headlights installed and one OEM low bead headlight installed, the oem lowbeam works, the aftermarket low beam doesnt work but all four headlights work with high beam. Any ideas on how I have to try to wire it, or is there a conversion kit?
You probably have to re-pin the low beam headlight plug (move the wires to a different position). I tried, but I can't locate a before/after diagram for you.
I "think" your LED headlights are pinned the same as an H4 bulb. But I won't swear to that in court.....
They do make sealed beam (tungsten) to H4 bulb conversion harnesses.

Okay great thank you for the input! So I looked around a bit and found these pretty affordable on Amazon:
I think they will allow me to rearrange the wires how I need to. Plus the last product image for these actually shows that they are compatible with the exact headlights I bought. I think there are quite a few versions of the headlights I have but the wiring is probably the same. Either way, this harness should help me set it up right.
