Brake Lights Not Working

So I recently bought LED brake lights for my Camaro. They light up but don't get brighter when I press the brake. The original incandescent bulb works fine when I press the brakes. Also the LED bulb isn't seating right in the socket, so it lights up but you have to press down on it for it to light up sometimes. I also matched the bulbs and they are the same size. Any reason why this is happening?

Re: Brake Lights Not Working

Probably rotated 180°.

Look closely at the little nubs on the side of the bulb. Observe that one is closer to the connector surface than the other. The little twist-lock slots in the socket are also correspondingly different. Make sure it's installed so that they match.
