'91 Z28 - TPI to Sniper EFI - What am I going to lose?
I have done some searching but I'm not finding what I'm looking for.
As the title says I'm pulling the stock TPI engine out and puting in a new engine with Sniper EFI.

- I have removed the stock ECM and pulled the harness (the one that runs thru the passenger side kick panel)
- I'm assuming I will be able to wire up the Sniper EFI system and it will control the fuel pump and cooling fans.
- With the stock ECM removed what am I going to lose as far as gauge cluster functionality?
- Speedometer?
- Tach?
- Oil Pressure?
- Water Temp?

The speedo should be mechanical so nothing will change there.
The oil pressure and coolant sensor should be wired directly. Not sure about the tach.
.
Edit didn't see the year. The older ones are mechancal

The speedometer Vss signal will need a buffer like Dakota digital ship-100bt.
the ecm controls tcc lockup so that needs to be addressed I’m not sure how the sniper works. Might want inquire.

Going with a TKO-600 so no worries on the TCC. I'm not sure what VSS Mike Forte sold me with the TKO but I'm guessing I will still need that buffer box? All of the other gauges go direct from the sensors to the connector on the drivers side behind the brake booster correct? I'll have two coolant sensors, one for the gauge and one for the Sniper EFI?
