Wiring single electric fan with A/C W/out ECM

So, I have a 1988 RS Camaro with a 350 Carbed & 700R4 . Im looking for a wonderful way to wire my AC and fan together so that my fan will kick in and AC will stay cool while I am at idle. So far I have the ECM still plugged up and have cut away all wires I do not need and tucked away. Still have stock fan relay, and have it connected to a temp switch on the head. Have my AC (R4 COMP) in place but not too sure about the wiring for them being in sync. Let me add that im only using the ECM for TCC lockup until i can get a kit.

You can do this by using a relay to have the 12 volt a/c request wire trigger a ground that with activate your fan relay. So at the hvac controls, locate the wire that gets 12 volts with the key on and control in the a/c or defrost position. It was a green wire on my car but I’m not sure if thats the same for all. Run this wire to terminal 86 on a new relay for the 12 volt trigger. Connect terminals 85 and 30 together, then ground them to anywhere you want. Now when the hvac control is turned to a/c, that 12 volt signal will close the relay and send a ground anywhere you want. Then you just need to run a wire from terminal 87, the new ground output of the relay, to the ground trigger on your main fan relay. Assuming your fan switch is a standard ground kind of deal, just tie it into that and the fan will come on whenever you turn the a/c on.
