No power to radio, interior lights, and cigarette lighter
No power to radio, interior lights, and cigarette lighter
1st time owner to a 1985 IROC. Found that the radio, cigarette lighter and interior light not working. The constant 12v for the radio has no power. Check all fuses and all are fine.
Ima noob, I’ll admit it. Where do I go from here?

All those accessories are on the same circuit . I would check the fuses again with a test light or DVOM.it is the acc fuse not pwr acc .Make sure you are getting power in general. If my memory is correct it is a 15 or a 20 amp fuse. The cigarette lighters are a common problem on these cars and will blow that fuse quick. If the fuse is blows unplug the ciggerete lighter. Connector is behind it. Then put a new fuse in. Your hatch and door locks shouldn't work aswell.

Pretty sure this diagram is for the 85:

One of those orange wires is touching ground - &/or - one of those accessories has shorted internally. A couple of these accessories might be plugged into the face of the fuse-box on a single ORANGE wire with a black plug, ( Power Antenna, Radio ) but the rest will be 'hard wired' to the fuse-box. A common cause for a problem on this circuit is a bad Lighter socket.
To find the problem:
When you unplug the bad accessory and install a new fuse and the new fuse doesn't blow - you found the short. Example: If you unplug the Lighter socket,... install a new fuse,.... and the fuse doesn't blow; the lighter socket is he problem ( proven to cause the failure).
If the Lighter Socket is un-plugged and the new fuse blows, the Lighter Socket is probably not the problem ( It could still be; not proven yet because there is still ANOTHER problem accessory). Leave it unplugged and move on and unplug the next accessory. Once you unplug the bad accessories and the fuse no longer blows up discard that accessory and begin to plug-in any accessories that were previously unplugged 1 at a time and re-check the fuse; repeat until all accessories are plugged in once again and the fuse no longer blows.
Unplug the Radio &/or the Power Antenna for the first tests,... those are east to unplug at the face of the fuse-box. The wire/connector should look like this: ( Radio and P/Antenna *might* connect on the same wire, but might also be using 2 different connectors )

Check first if there is crome chips at inside cigarette lighter(which grounds power direct to earth and blows fuse). This happend to me many years ago.
