Hello, my electronic timing control sensor. Or what ever its called. Has one side of the wires pulled from it. I purchased a new plug from a local parts car. Not sure if its the same. Need help, (original says P.E.G. #54)
My main question is, where do I connect the new plug end, on the other side of the plug that was pulled out. Does it lead to the dostributor? Ecu? Or the steering column. Cheers.
any info very appreciated!!! Thanks This is the plug I need to know what wire to splice into my(not pictured other plug(with both wires)) obviously the one side is shown going to the 3 wired plug below. There is a brown and black stripped wire also near FPR on HSR Intake(is this the wire I splice into? Heard you had to splice into a brown wire with black stripe. Which wire? Theres 2.
Have you found the est by the blower motor housing?
the black/white stripe wire is probably from the egr temp sensor 85-89 tpi.
this is in a 1989 s15 gmc truck also. But is a 87 tpi motor so not sure if the harness is from the truck... also! Can you send a picture of your EST. Cheers
The est is a single wire weather pak connector on the tan/blk stripe wire running from the icm to ecm. I have seen standalone harness have the est at ecm location. You might have to trace it back.
the s15 might of had a 4 banger 1227165 ecm running speed density. Don’t know what ecm you have to tell you the est pin out.
