I have recently got LED lights for my 86 RS (headlights,signal,brake, reverse) the more major lights. I have yet to install them as I have yet to get the car out of storage. My only thing i came to think about after is if there anything I should look out for or be concerned about when switching certain bulbs to LED like the signal bulbs or anything or should everything be okay? None of the LED’s I purchased are multi coloured either. They are all a solid colour corresponding to their location/function. I have come to discover these cars can be picky on somethings and I just want advice or guidance

(I realize this could be a dumb question I’m asking and I’m overthinking but i just want advice from folks who’ve bern around these cars longer then me as l’m only 17 and want to learn the most I can about 3rd gens)

 

You'll need an electronic flashers for the signal and emergency lights. OE flashers wont work on LEDs.

Installs just like stock part. You can find them on ebay, amazon, others. There is a thread on the site about them.

I just got in my LED headlights installed and wow the difference on the amp draw and brightness is unbelievable.
