Recently replaced Headlight switch and now the headlights high and low beams will flicker qhen they are turned on. All interior lights and other exterior lights will not flicker. The Headlight switch also gets hot to touch. I have after market H4 headlights and they have never givem me this issue until i replaced the headlight switch. Should I get another headlight switch cause this one could be bad or should i wire in a couple relays to control the headlights separately?

 

I would do the relay install, it takes the load off the headlight switch. Along with providing brighter lights. Be sure to check the grounds for the headlights. They are near the lights under the hood.

Not sure why the headlight switch needed to be replaced, but the new one may be bad.
