1982 Firebird, power only to headlights
1982 Firebird, power only to headlights
I have been working on this firebird for a little while now and cannot figure out what is going on. I have power to my headlights, taillights, hazards, dome light, and buzzer. None of the lights on the dash (dummy lights or indicators) come on. When key is put to the run position, the buzzer goes silent, and nothing will happen when put to start position. Changed out the ignition switch and nothing has changed. Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks guys! There is one fusible link that i have been questioning, and it comes right off of the positive battery cable. I didn't think it would go to the alternator post because there is another wire that runs there with the plug as well... but maybe that's what I'm missing?

More likely, your bad one is down at the starter. The one by the battery feeds the ECM.
