• My headlights have started popping up when I turn on the running lights. They don't turn on, just pop up. Headlights work as they should otherwise.
• The passenger headlight motor sits there and spins for several seconds after the lamp opens or closes and makes knocking noises. Driver's side is fine.
• The front side markers don't light up. I replaced every bulb in the car this year, so I know it's not that. I don't remember them ever lighting up.

Adding more work to an endless project. At least she's back to the point I can comfortably drive her again.

 

1 and 3rd bullets sound like a wiring issue, 3rd one maybe loose ground / wire?

on 3rd bullet, I'd turn on and wiggle some wires and see if anything happens. next, get out a multimeter and see if they are getting power.

2 bullet sounds like classic headlight problem, may need to be rebuilt. google around this board, you will find what to do.
