altenator dilema
altenator dilema
Right now until summer I am stuck with a 2.8L V6 (350 is in the garage). I just went nuts with car audio stuff and want to get a bigger altenator. Will an altenator pretty much be able to interchange between a 2.8L and a 350. Thanks. I'm trying to avoid having to buy two.

mine did.
my camaro was a 87v6 crap(mpfi) and now is powered by a 82 350 4bbl. i did use the same alternator with the old 350 alt. support brackets, the only thing...i had to open the alternetor and rotate the 2 halves 90 degrees.so the connector for the alternator clears, a total 1 hour job from taking it out to engine running.
fernando.
