Hey y’all , so I just bought my first third gen.. I drove it all over today , after I went to fire it back up to go to work tonight I started the engine and the choke light started flashing , also noticed that all of the lights are flickering/dimming in and out with the engine rpm speed at idle now what’s weird is this car apparently hasn’t ever had a choke on it before the 355 swap form what I was told , also currently it doesn’t have a choke on it whatsoever the wiring is there however the guy I bought it from said it had issues and so he just took it off. So engine running choke light on and flickering , all lights interior and exterior flickering , but the battery is reading 15v. Anyone have any ideas what the issue could be?? like I said I just bought this car and it’s my first ever so I’m learning still.

Having a 350 instead of a 305 doesn't make any difference

Well I swapped alternators , I also cleaned up the grounds on the fender , as well as the one to the front of the block didn’t get to the ground strap behind block but new alternator in choke light still on but not flashing anymore and as far as I can tell none of the lights are flickering anymore interior or exterior, any ideas?
