Harness compatibility question
My car is a 85 iroc roller (originally lb9 tpi/ 700r4) I bought a 92 350 tpi I'm gonna put into it. My current plan is to use an integrated 88 harness to accommodate for the serpentine set up, convert speed density to MAF, and use an 88 ECM. My question is, am I going to run into issues using my original dash harness? Or should/can I use an 88 dash harness to accommodate?

Re: Harness compatibility question
The 1985 Body Side (as apposed to the Engine Compartment Side) of the C100 Bulk-Head Electrical Connector, that becomes part of the Dash-Board Wiring...
can easily be Re-Pined to match the 1988 Engine Compartment Side of the C100 Bulk-Head Electrical Connector.
The Body Side of the Connector does not use the Heavy Di-Electric Grease that the Engine Side uses...
makes it very easy to move/ add/ delete Terminals from the Connector.
Otherwise the 1985 Dash Wiring will be specific to the Power Accessories (Windows, Locks, Etc) and HVAC Options that the Car uses.
Swapping to the 1988 Dash Wiring will most likely not have the same Options as the 1985 Dash Wiring.
