OBD1 to OBD2 ALDL connector

I have read as many forums as I can look at here and I do not see how you do a OBD1 connection to a OBD2 ALDL connector. I have a 1995 LT1 in a 1995 S10 and this is the first time I have had to do this since I put it in in 1997. I have the TunerCat program and it works fine.

Re: OBD1 to OBD2 ALDL connector

The connectors are completely different and the electrical/data signals are different as well. You might as well ask how do you plug your headphones into a wall outlet.

Since this is a forum for 82-92 Camaro/Firebird, NOT for 95 anything or for S trucks, it would be best if you asked those questions on a forum or elsewhere that discussions about those things are welcomed.

Re: OBD1 to OBD2 ALDL connector

As said above, totally different.

Different size Connector, with 16 Terminal positions instead of 12, smaller Metri-Pack 150 Terminals instead of Metri-Pack 280 Terminals, Different Pinout, and different Circuits.
