I am looking for a part# for the negative battery cable, be it AC Delco or GM OR an aftermarket source.
Would 4SD25X be correct for AC Delco. I assume that "25" means 25 inches

Re: Negative Battery Cable

I found the part# on the cable but searching that # reveals nothing. Off to Rockauto.

Re: Negative Battery Cable

GM part book lists number 12003646. It's a service replacement cable so it's not exactly like the original and also fits a few other GM vehicles. Discontinued in 2006 but
there is some new old stock still floating around.

AC Delco lists part number 4SD30X as a currently available replacement. Appears to be a reboxed aftermarket Standard Motor Products battery cable.

Re: Negative Battery Cable

Tkx for all the info guys. Much appreciated. I checked out Rockauto & 4SD25X s/b the correct cable. Somehow along the way a previous owner, damaged the threads on the cable "bolt" to the battery. Had to replace the battery (died) & the "bolt" would not gain enough catch to attache to the battery. Had to do some filing on the battery negative receiver.
