Ok guys I feel like if tried everything on this and I’m about ready to lose my mind. It s not the gauge, we swapped clusters and shorted the gauge and it moves so gauge itself works, I have swapped the sending unit as well and checked all the fuses. Absolutely nothing. It’s pinned on empty which is weird to me, all the other gauges work fine except the battery gauge which I think I messed up when I put my cluster back in because it only stopped working once I put the cluster back in. I’m starting to think it’s just gotta be some faulty wire or something like that and I’m just gonna have to rewire the whole car. On the same note though, it has this weird issue where sometimes the car will just cut off fuel entirely, it will die and if I undo the fuel lines at the carb there isn’t a drop of fuel in there. So maybe the fuel tank area isn’t getting power at all and the mechanical pump is trying to pull through the non working electric fuel pump and every now and then it gives in, that’s my running theory at the moment but I’m willing to hear out anything at this point.
