1991 transam heater blower
1991 transam heater blower
Had to jump start the car the other day, forgot to turn off the heater.... now it instantly blows the fuse, i have disconnected the blower motor and still the same. I did the same with blower speed dial. Any ideas?
Re: 1991 transam heater blower
For openers, I'll ask, since the HVAC is only supposed to be powered when the key is on, why would leaving the HVAC controls on matter at all since it looses power when the key is off

And, there are a couple of connectors involving the HVAC that have the tendency to melt, bad enough sometimes that the connections short to each other. This can, of course, blow fuses.
