I recently installed a T56 in my Firebird and I can't get my cruise to work. I used the dakota digital box and hooked it up the best I could. Now, my speedometer works and so does my shift light, but no cruise. I hooked the yellow VSS wire to the input side of the box and the other other half of the yellow wire is hooked to the output side. I grounded one side of the VSS(brown) as the instructions said to. I also grounded the remaining half of the other wire(brown). Is there a fuse or fusible link I am overlooking? My cruise worked fine before the swap.Did I screw something up or what? Please help!

 

I have the same problem. I think that the cruise gets the signal from the ECM and I just have not found the right wire. I also may have some wires off down on the switch on the brake pedal.
