ive been trying to fix my turn signals for a while now with no luck. when i cut headlights on, the bulbs glow as they should but they dont flash at all when signals are activated. i do hear the flasher click though. based on the wiring diagram its suppose to run from fuse box to flasher, straight to the vhx box, then to bulbs right? i first cleaned grounding points behind headlights but that did nothing. bulbs and side markers are new

 

I took the wires going to the original lights and plugged them into the box and everything worked. I plugged in the other turn signal plug and now have the original looking lights along with the smaller ones in the gauge cluster.
