So I thought I had this whipped but it seems I do not. I bought a Brave Tech sequential tail lamp wire harness popped in some LEDs and thought I had the tiger by the tail. With no park or headlamps on, the sequential tail lamps function correct.


Well turned on the park lamps/headllamps and no functioning turn signals. Turn indicators on the dash are both lit. So I thought well maybe the “no load” flasher is no good or not good enough. Bought two new ones and same thing. So I thought maybe it’s the led lights, replaced with candescent and no change. Any ideas! I assume the dash turn indicators are telling me a problem exists.

Would it be possible for there to be a ground issue that only shows up when the park lights are on? Seems like it wouldn’t work with or without the parks on.

Update- pulled off Brave Tech harness and replaced LEDs with incandescent bulbs. Turn signals work with park function on. I tried incandescents in the Brave Tech harness and it would not work either.

4am Update- not normal but dog got me up so….. fix these damn lights- I added a 50w 6ohm resistor across the turn signal and ground which faked the system out and fixed the issue. LEDs in on Brave Tech Sequential Harness.

 

Well, I was going to say to Post a Wiring Diagram of what you Installed so that we can assist you in correcting your issue...

But if you seem to have things under control than that is fantastic!
