Deleting a/c keeping blower motor.
Deleting a/c keeping blower motor.
I am wanting to know how I can get ride of all the wires for the a/c but keep the 2 for the blower motor so I can still have heat. Do I need to keep all the wires or can I get rid of some?

You won't need the A/C specific wires.
I'd just be sure that you keep any that are important to blower motor, like the harness for the resistor pack, grounds, and any large gauge power wires for the high setting. It's not just the two that go into the motor.

Was wondering this same thing with mine.
Is there a "Box" that just has the blower motor avalible somewhere?
That would delete the Evap core?
Never mind. Just found it

I deleted my a/c and have the heater only box on my car and also changed to the early style engine accessories. I couldn't get past the look of the compressor just sitting there or the delete pulley.

all the wires
The ones for the compressor.
Not what I'd think of as a real high priority for downgrading a car. Once it's EFFFFFED UP that bad by having the AC hacked of, acoupla extra wires tucked back into the wire looms aren't gonna make or break a hack job.

As long as it fits and is flat where it mounts, it shouldn't matter. Just a fiberglass box.
But I'd make sure someone has experience with one of the cheaper ones. If something doesn't line up it'll be a waste of your time and money.

This box allows you to use your factory AC motor. The non AC cars had a different, smaller motor.
1982 -1992. Fiberglass Third gen Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am AC delete heater box | eBay
A.C. Delete for all 82-92 F-body. (Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am) Allows you to remove the evaporator core housing cleaning up the firewall, and maintain the heater function. Flat top allows for optimal placement of MSD box on firewall. Holes marked in factory location. (YOU WILL NEED TO DRILL THE HOLES FOR THE FAN AND TO MOUNT TO THE FIRE WALL) Also allows use of FACTORY AC fan and mounting hardware. High quality fiberglass requires very light sanding and paint. Also marked for blower fan resistor allowing use of variable speed ac fan if desired. Easy project, just pull off your evaporator cover. Use the original fan and resistor if you desire. Then bolt back on. No need to replace the factory heater core, fan, or resistor. Quick shipping guaranteed. Any questions are welcome. Case will be in white gelcoat. Highest quality and the cheapest you'll find anywhere. This allows for more space for large valve covers and headers as well as big block engines. Molded in fiberglass for additional strength and stands up to heat, far better than the generic plastic covers offered. This piece also features more crisp and square lines much like the original steel heater box looked like. Exterior is primed in white which creates a great base for any color paint. As you can see for yourself there has been great effort taken to improve this piece, rest assured your getting the best A/C delete cover on the market!
