C100 Engine side connector bodies (15492519) out of stock everywhere

As of today, I've checked everywhere online (including Mouser) and no one seems to have the C100 engine side 15492519 connector in stock. Mouser says they'll have them around the middle of August. Does anyone have any leads on in stock 15492519 connectors?

I'm LS7 swapping my 1987 IROC. I don't need most of the 350TPI's engine wiring harness. I figured that if I had my own new, not full of sticky brown grease 15492519 connector, I could crimp my own Metripack terminals on new wiring for what I need. Some needs include:

A4 Power Distribution (Ignition Switch)
B4 Starting System (Starter Interlock) >
I don't know what this is or what it does
C5, 6, 7 Wiper Washer*
D5 Wiper Washer*
F4 Power Distribution >
I don't think I'm going to need this. I've got a Holley Dominator
G5 Power Distribution (Light Switch, Fuse Block)
G7 Generator, Coolant Fan >
I don't think that I need this either. My PWM, brushless SPAL fan will be controlled by my Dominator

I'm not concerned with any OEM instruments. I've got a Holley 12.3" ProDash that I'm somehow going to make fit in the stock dash.

Any leads on a 15492519 or any advice concerning my plans listed above will be much appreciated.

If you have an existing connector that's salvageable, soak it in gasoline over night and then pressure wash it. I just did the same with mine and it came out spotless.

In my experience, Mouser will restock a part much sooner than what they say, even months ahead of schedule. I would just place the order and my guess is it will get fulfilled much sooner than projected. If I remember right, you only pay for shipping once per order so any parts shipped later will be free shipping. And you can always cancel the order if you find the part somewhere else.

Thank you for letting me know that gasoline will dissolve all of the thick, brown grease.

Awesome news! I'll probably just place the order. Even if it takes until the middle of August, it probably won't put my project behind schedule. However, sooner would be better.

Carb cleaner works excellent. I have one that is cleaned and ready to go if you still need one. Bare connector only.

While I was looking for something else, I saw several on eBay. I did a search for 82-92 camaro wiring connector, several were listed for a variety of prices.

I can't believe that looking on eBay never occured to me. Thank you! I'll go take a look.

LeeH has one that he's willing to let go and Mouzer should have new ones in stock later this summer (mid Aug.) Between these three places, I should have one in hand soon.

How many do you need? I have a bunch leftover from my harness building days
Also have C207, C221, HVAC and wiper stuff

Would rather do a bulk deal on the lot vs singles

Pocket, that's quite a stash of C100s! I only need one but I'd probably buy two just to have a spare for whatever reason.

Mouser says that they'll have them in stock by 18 August and they're only $4.42 each. I don't think that I'll need one before then

I did go check out eBay and found one seller that wanted about $26 shipped for one. No, thank you! If need be, I'll wait and get one from Mouser.

Re: C100 Engine side connector bodies (15492519) out of stock everywhere

Mouser is only able to sell what they themselves can buy from the actual MANUFACTURER. Mouser isn't that; they're a DISTRIBUTOR. They merely buy and sell. If Delphi (Aptiv this week, I think) isn't making them, then Mouser can't sell them.

Sucks, to be sure; butt that's kinda how the world works. Like, if you go to Walmart and they don't have... say... vacuum-sealed bacon-wrapped filet mignon, then it's not necessarily Walmart's fault. Could well be, butt maybe not. And if they tell you they're expecting some to come in... say, ... 3 weeks from now, what are they REALLY saying? that the cows the meat packers are packing today don't have filet mignon on em, butt the next batch of cows that'll be ready in 3 weeks does? that bacon is in short supply? the vacuum machine is broken? the purchasing dept decided they were too expensive this week and they'll bully the packing houses into supplying them by discontinuing them long enough that their profits will hurt? WHAT EXACTLY is the reason for this? to accurately predict when you can buy em again, it would REALLY help to know what's REALLY going on, and why they're REALLY out of stock at the moment.

Same kinda deal here. Mouser is pretty good about stocking what (a) Delphi makes and (b) people buy. You don't have access to inventory history of course, butt you can be sure that if Mouser could sell em to ya and make money doing so, they'd be ON THE SHELF waiting for your order. My money would be on, Delphi hasn't shipped em for however long; Mouser ran out; and they won't have any more until Delphi ships em some more. Until then, if you REALLY need em, you'll just have to scrounge around a little bit and maybe buy the fewest you possibly can to get by for the moment, from some scalper.

Get your head out of your selfishness and look at things the way the REAL WORLD does. You'll be much better prepared to understand what's REALLY going on around you.

Re: C100 Engine side connector bodies (15492519) out of stock everywhere

In a way.

Complaining about Mouser (and "everywhere online") as if there was something they could do about it butt hadn't.

The problem doesn't lie with any of them. The ONLY entity that can fix it is Delphi. They have ended up unable to get material in time, or made a conscious decision, or just allowed themselves to get caught with their pants down, and couldn't or didn't make any of that particular part #.

Assign responsibility where it truly lies, not merely blame the most visible and immediate last link in the chain that you customarily deal with.

sofa, I don't know why this triggered you. There is no complaint here. I'm simply stating a fact, not complaining. I stated a fact and was hoping that somebody else knew of somewhere else that might have this connector in stock.

Re: C100 Engine side connector bodies (15492519) out of stock everywhere

Time to update this thread; my Mouser order came in today!

At $4.42 each, I went ahead and purchased 5 of the 15492519. engine side, C100 connectors.

This is 5 of what Mouser told me is the last 200 to be manufactured. Once these are gone, no more will be made.
This is 5 of what Mouser told me is the last 200 to be manufactured. Once these are gone, no more will be made.

Since I was making the Mouser order anyway, I thought why not order one, cabin side C100 connector, just in case.

I also purchased some Metri Pack 630 male terminals. I already have MP 480 and MP 280 male terminals in my electrical supply.

It's been over 4 months since I started this thread but the lack of a new engine side C100 connector didn't delay my IROC build. I don't think that I'll need these connectors until November or December of this year.
