Air Con control box

Hi All,
I have 1986 Camaro 305 TPI with a single thermo fan. Trying to understand the AC wiring as the thermo fan is running all the time. Can someone tell me what this control box does. It looks like the control wire from the heater / ac control goes to this box. Thanks

Re: Air Con control box

That appears to be the cruise control module. If your blower is running all of the time, either you have a short or the fan switch has failed.

You talking about the engine radiator fan? I would guess it is normal that the fan is always running when air conditioning is operating.

This site has some wiring diagrams that will help you understand fan controls, https://austinthirdgen.org/
