under hood light bulb

found the overnight battery drain. hood light on this 84 was saying on, pulled fuse but any ideas on tracking down the cause. Thanks

Yeah, the switch on thelight is bad, so the light stays on all the time...

Parking on a hill, bracket is bent, ... it's a tilt switch. REAL basic. You can figure it out.

Or, just unplug it and move on, since it about as useless as **** on a chicken, anyway.

I had same problem on an 1980's Mercury Capri. the under hood light stayed on after hood closed. Just disconnected it. Problem solved
