When i open my passenger side door, the dome light goes on. But, when i open my driverside door, nothing happens. It used to work, but the car was sitting for a few years. Maybe the little pushbutton thingy in the door jam broke??? How do i fix or troubleshoot this? :lala:

 

You pull the plastic panels (the screws are hidden in the carpet if you got the deluxe option) and get to the wires going to the door pins. Use a multimeter on the wire/ground and see if there's continuity when the switch is "out" and if it cuts out when you push it in. If not, follow that wire back and look for a break somewhere.
