Right turn signal/parking lamp ground wire color???

On a 86 camaro,I located the wire that runs to the ground of the right turn signal/parking light,it runs behind the drivers side headlights, there is a pink wire and a black wire, which one is the ground????I need to cut and splice and rerun the ground cause its causing my tach and battery gauge to go dead when I have my parking lights on

If your right turn indicator lights up with your dash lights on, your problem is on the back of the instrument cluster itself; one of the PC traces is broken on the ground side of the circuit for the dash lights. Pull your cluster out of the dash, and check the traces near the upper dash light over the tach, and you'll likely find the broken one. If you can, carefully solder a small jumper wire across the break; or even just wedge the wire under a terminal on either side of the break.
I had the same thing happen to my Z28 many years ago; soldered a wire across the break, and it's worked fine since...
Hope this helps....
