I don't think I'll have a problem with someone trying to steal my car, or even breaking into it if I keep my stereo stuff out of sight. What I'm worried about are a**holes that think they need to be cool and vandalize it (door dinged, keyed, even paintballed). I don't know if car alarms will help that much either. Even if they scare someone away, I won't be able to catch them doing it. Is there away hook up a remote or pager to your car alarm so you'll know when it's going off?

I also need to know a few respectable car alarm brands so I know what to look for before I try and buy one. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guys. -Brian
