Speedometer Help needed

I need to get my Speedometer replaced before the 7th of March so I can get out of a ticket. I need to know if a later 80's Camaro [or Firebird] Speedometer will fit my 84. I'm really looking for one of those that goes to 140 mph. What years were these offered??

Also, what if any aftermarket speedometers are a close fit to stock? Thanks.

Nothing camaro will fit (properly) in a 'bird's dash.

I know the dashes changed aftr 84, but not totally sure about the gauge style/pattern in the cluster. To be safe, I'd say you'd probably have to get something from an 82-84. Cable driven speedo's were still used after 84 but I think it was more common to have an elec speedo 85 & above (until the LG4 was finally axed). Any 140 mph speedo in the formulas or t/a's would be electric. I'm failry certain that's right but, hopefully someone else may know for certain.
