here is the story, car worked fine all day started and stoped engine 4 or 5 times today.

pulled up at the bank(driveup) turnsd off ign. did my busness went to start and the key didnt want to turn tried again to no avail. got it to turn and car freaked out hi speed ckicking from the starter and not turning over turned the key off and pulled it out and all eleck kept working (radio)but comming in and out like irregular voltage getting to it all this with key in hand.

put key back in and tried again still clicking but now radio and windows etc work with the key like they should but still hi speed clicking when trying to start the car .

could something be wrong with my ign switch and fried my starter?? all i know is try to get people in line at a bank on friday afternoon to back up so you can push your pride and joy out of the way is not the way i wanted to start the weekend!!!

please help !!!!

only had car for 3 months so dont know much about starter age and stuff like that or VATS system either.
