My 91 Convertible was broken into last year and I have been having problems with some of the electrics ever since. The problem I am having now is that that convertible switch in the console no longer fires the soleniods to pop the latch for the top. The top place said it was getting power to the switch. I also notice the 3rd brake like no longer works. I checked the fuses on the dash and they all checked fine. Are these some how linked. I know that might sound strange but I found that the cigarette lighter, power door locks and the horn all worked off the same fuse when I blew that one. Its a strange problem. Anyone have an idea off hand what might be the problem. I had to take it to the body shop before I has to chance to get out there with a multimeter to do some testing. Thanks.
