Battery wants to hit it from the back

lol....nah but i want to put my battery where my spare is. I looked for another post about this but didnt see one so is it a waste of time or good idea? if good idea what do you need to do this?

Good or bad idea is more so an opinion than anything so I'll leave that to someone else.

Summiit used to sell a batt relocation kit fairly cheap ($40 or something like that) that consisted of a plastic/nylon battery box & enough 4ga wire to make it to your starter. I don't know if they still do but, i'm sure at least one of the major mail order companies has it yet. The only other thing I'd invest in is some sort of junction block so you could rewire your other bettery driven things (fans, ECM, etc..) up front instead of having to wire them to the starter or run them to the back of the car. That part is your choice
