Unless you race I personally feel they are a waste of money. I tried a couple of different ones an noticed nothing different. The stock PROM has good driveability characteristics and also enables you to run regular fuel. If you are looking at tenth's then it is probably worth it, but for around town I doubt that the money spent will be noticeable. And I concur, among the people I know who do race the fastchip is well liked.

Only advice I can give is DO NOT get a hypertech. I sent mine back 4 times and in the end had to return it all together. I lost 100 dollars for the tech fee.

If yo're not burning your own chips (admittedly, the best method) the next best thing is Ed Wright at Fastchip.com.He burned my custom chip and I had it in two days.Works great.
Plan on supplying him with a ton of info about your combo, if you want it to be right.I hear good things about his off-the-shelf chips as well.
